Our physical bodies were made from
the earth and will return to the earth. And while we are alive on
this earth, we need the nutrients from the earth to feed our
bodies. Look at the verses that support this:
“God formed man from the dust of the
ground…” Genesis 2:7
“Cursed is the ground because of you;
through painful toil you will
EAT OF IT
all the days of your life.
It will produce thorns and thistles for you, AND YOU WILL
EAT THE PLANTS OF THE FIELD.
By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food
Until you return to he ground,
since from it you were taken;
For dust you are and to dust you will return.”
Genesis 3:17-19
During our time on this earth, we
need to feed our bodies from the earth that it was made in order to
sustain it. We need to
get the vitamins and minerals from the earth into our bodies.
The way this is done is through
plants and sunshine. Plants have the way to transform the
inorganic minerals found in the earth into organic minerals that our
bodies can digest and use to maintain health.
The plants pull nutrients out of the
earth and sunshine helps transform it into organic form that our
bodies can use.
So the idea is to eat more fruits and
vegetables so we can get those vitamins and minerals from the earth
into our bodies!
This goes right along with the
dietary plant that God, our Creator, had in mind!
God created and designed us;
therefore, only He knows our complete chemical make-up down to the
minutest atom and what we must eat to be healthy. And God designed
a special eating plan for us to keep us healthy!
